Hi my name is Emily, and for my english project my teacher had us make a website for
our articles we wrote that are based on historic events that changed the world. This is my "lasting images" website.
In general, you will witness what exactly happened on the day of August 6th 1945, when an atomic bomb was dropped on a city
in Japan. You will read stories from survivors and have a glimps of the true horror that took place on that day (P.S-> strictly
on that day ) Thank you for your time.

Japan- At precisely 8:15
am, on August 6th 1945, for the first time in history, an atomic bomb was dropped over Hiroshima. This huge fire ball killed
an estimated 70,000 thousand people instantly and left hundreds of thousands seriously injured. The resulting explosion had
more power than 20,000 tons of TNT, and left a gruesome trail of devastation. Never has the world seen such destruction caused
by one single bomb, or one single country: The United- States.
